Tourism Conference 2019
2019 is set to be a good year for tourism in the Outer Hebrides. Three major travel and media companies – CNN, Lonely Planet and AirBnB, have featured us in their list of Top 10 global destination for 2019.
To take advantage of this coverage and to build momentum from the opportunities it presents, we are hosting a Tourism Conference for the Outer Hebrides as part of Scottish Tourism Month in March.
BENBECULA CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
STORNOWAY CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
We have spent the last year talking to our visitors and getting the views of our members. All the output has been distilled into six stories all of which capture a unique element of the Outer Hebrides that also makes people choose us as a place to visit.
These six stories sit at the heart of the conference, and a varied mix of speakers from the islands and beyond will outline how they will drive our tourism strategy forward towards 2025.
