Pubs and Bars in the Outer Hebrides

These pages list bars and pubs in the Outer Hebrides.

From sophisticated cafe bars, to cosy traditional pubs, we have a great selection of island bars.

Out of the main town of Stornoway, you will mostly find that the pubs are in the local hotels, or combined with a restaurant.

In the summer months, many bars will have live music, particularly at the weekend or if there are major events on the island e.g. Hebridean Celtic Festival or Eilean Dorcha Festival.

It is a great way to meet the friendly locals and join in with community life and off course taste our island tipples of whisky, gin (including Isle of Harris Gin) and beer!

You can also follow our Eat Drink Hebrides Trail, and you will be sure to sample some of our delicious local food and drink.
