Support Hub

We provide support, advice and information to the tourism industry in the Outer Hebrides:

• We host regular Tourism conferences bringing speakers from home and away to inspire and inform our tourism businesses

• We host regular webinars to assist members make the most of their listings and understand their listing insights

• We provide opportunities for informal catch ups and networking and assist those thinking of setting up tourism businesses

• We answer queries about tourism – through our own resources or by signposting enquiries to other sources of knowledge

• We seek to improve the industry skills and competitiveness, most recently through the Digital Tourism Scotland project and an online training for the tourism industry (in development)

• We are introducing a Tourism Support Business list (insurers, photographers, web developers etc) to help our members  - watch this space..

• Seek to signpost businesses to regulations/licence requirements e.g. Short Term Lets Licence
