Featured Gaelic Learning

Gaelic is the first language of the Outer Hebrides. Today the islands are the main stronghold of this beautiful language in Scotland, and one of the few places you’ll hear it spoken as you travel around.

With Love Gàidhlig in North Uist, you can learn some of the language. There is also a brilliant summer school in South Uist each summer where you can learn to step dance, music and lots more at Ceolas.

An Taigh Cèilidh in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis is a Gaelic community and cultural centre with community café and shop which holds regular events connected to Gaelic language and culture.
