Traigh Mhor Pony Trekking is a small and friendly, family run business that offers a range of guided treks and trails along some of Lewis’s most rugged and beautiful coastlines. Located in the quiet crofting community of New Tolsta. The trekking centre offers unparalleled horse riding experiences which include rides down onto the famous pristine Tràigh Mhòr sands. All our routes and trails have excellent views, chances to see Hebridean wildlife and plenty moments for those prized photographs and memories.
We offer a wide range of village, moorland and picnic and much sought after beach rides throughout the year to all abilities and ages. We can offer special private bespoke beach rides along Tràigh Mhòr suitable for that very special occasion. We also offer pony experience days in spring and summer where you can spend all at the centre being around and riding our horses.
Tràigh Mhòr Pony Trekking is ABRS and TRSS approved. Our aim is to give you the warmest of hebridean welcomes.
