About

This service is the inter-island ferry between Eriskay and Barra. This crossing takes approximately 40 minutes, running 7 days a week with up to 5 crossings at day. The ferry terminal has a small waiting room with toilets and a shower.

If you are taking a car, you are advised to book early as the ferry can be very busy, particularly in the summer season. You are required to be at the ferry terminal at least 20 minutes prior to departure.

It is also advisable to check the ferry service status, as ferries can be delayed or cancelled due to adverse weather.
