About

Elecampan (Inula Helenium) is a tall yellow cultivated flower, now growing wild.

This plants origin on Barra was in the "big house" in Eoligarry. All that is left of the house and garden is some of the garden walls. The plant escaped from the garden and has begun to colonise in areas around the island.
