About

Whether you're in Barra to explore the island or just looking for a luxurious, cosy space to relax and unwind, Crofters provides the perfect answer all year round. Within 50 feet of the white sandy beach opposite, our 3-bedroom holiday home focuses on those special touches that keep our reviews 5-star and our visitors returning year after year.

Our living room features comfy sofas surrounding the log-burner centre-piece.   If you can drag your eyes away from the stunning views, why not watch a movie from our huge DVD selection or use Netflix on the Smart TV. For those of you with a competitive streak, crack open the games chest and challenge your family to a round of Scrabble or Chess.

The kitchen is well-equipped with every tool and utensil you could possibly need. There's room for 8 at the dining table and on those glorious summer days, open the french doors and dine on the decked patio space where you'll find our BBQ.  When you holiday at Crofters, there's no need to carry the kitchen sink. There’s a well-stocked dried goods cupboard with all the usual tins, pasta, herbs & spices. We also do our best to ensure you're never short of a dram; you bring the stories, we'll provide the fireside and the tipple.

When you're all tired out and need to rest up for your next Barra adventure, let our comfortable and spacious bedrooms whisk you off to sleep. We have two double bedrooms and one king size with its own en-suite bathroom. All the bedrooms have plenty drawer and wardrobe space as well as their own TVs and hairdryers and it goes without saying the cottage has an abundance of linen and towels. One visit to Crofters and we’re sure you’ll want to return.
