About

This area is a large area of machair, beach and cliffs. The machair is a mass of wild flowers and orchids in the summer.
The cliffs at the eastern end of the beach are a good point for taking photographs, from here you will be able to capture almost all of the wide sweep of the beach along with the Isle of Pabbay just to the north.

Photographers Tip

At the eastern end of the beach you will find Traigh Theinish, a small shell beach.
