About

Urras nan Tursachan (the Standing Stones Trust) set up the Calanais Visitor Centre, and it was first opened to the public 30 June 1995. The main aim for the Visitor Centre is to educate visitors on the story of the world famous Callanish Standing Stones.

* Please note that facilities at the Visitor Centre site are limited this year.
There are no facilities open on Sundays, though the Stones are still accessible from the Visitor Centre carpark.
