The whole Calanais Visitors Centre site is closed to the public as it undergoes exciting redevelopment. There will be no facilities available until the new centre reopens in 2026. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
Urras nan Tursachan (the Standing Stones Trust) set up the Calanais Visitor Centre, and it was first opened to the public 30 June 1995. We look forward to providing much improved services in the future as we redevelop the centre for visitors and our local community. Thank you for your patience while the redevelopment is in progress. We will be posting updates on the redevelopment on ouer website www.calanais.org and on facebook www.facebook.com/CalanaisStandingStones.
