About

New for March 2023! Now taking bookings!

Two large, luxury lodges sleeping 2 on the family croft of your host, located on the peaceful, stunning island of Great Bernera in The Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Connected by bridge to Lewis, you will find yourself away from it all yet close to many of the sublime beaches and visitor sites these islands offer such as Reef, Callanish Stones, the black house village and Stornoway. Only minutes away, you have award winning Bosta beach with it’s Iron Age house and there is an abundance of wildlife on your doorstep including nesting Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles, seals, otters and dolphins.

In your spacious, high ceilings, stylish lodge you will find a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, dining area with full sea and mountain views, a luxurious bed and a cosy, large sofa. Outside is another dining area with sublime sea and mountain views where you can inhale the peace and fresh Hebridean air. If you are lucky, you will see dolphins playing at the bottom of the croft or Golden Eagles soaring above. Soon to be added is a practical shed where you can store your bikes or other outdoor equipment and dry any wet clothing. One of our lodges, called Ebba is pet friendly and will accept a maximum of two smaller dogs on request (each dog £30/week). Our other lodge, called Elsa, is pet free. Your dogs will find a fully enclosed run for their own use!

Jenny Wilson Art studio & gallery is situated right on your door step on the very same croft as The View. When staying in our lodges, you get 20% off all paintings from the art gallery.
