About

Our self catering cottage in North Uist sits beside beautiful Loch Hosta with stunning views over the loch and the surrounding wild Hebridean landscape. White-tailed and Golden Eagles can regularly be seen soaring over the hills opposite and frequently over the loch in front of the house. The beautiful sweeping sandy Hosta Beach (Traigh Stir) is a 5 min walk from the house. The surrounding machair is a haven for flowers, wildlife, bees, butterflies and corncrakes. On a clear night with virtually zero light pollution the night skies are a sight to behold.
