About

What sets us apart is that our brand-new Wigwam 'Cnoc nan Uan Lodge' is spacious and fully adapted for disabled use but it is also suitable for guests of all abilities.

It is wheelchair accessible and has a large private toilet/shower room complete with shower chair.

It is on the west side of North Uist, close to outstanding beaches and the world-renowned Balranald Nature Reserve.

Our accommodation provides the ideal location for wildlife spotting. From May to late July, corncrakes are often heard and seen around our property.

For the keen birdwatcher, there are regular sightings of sea eagles, golden eagles, short-eared owls and numerous wading birds and sea birds on the nearby lochs and coastlines.

Otters can also be seen on nearby coastlines.

The sleeping area doubles up as a lounge. The lounge area has a dining table and chairs and an electric heater. A smart TV and free Wi-fi are provided.

There is a heated towel rail in the spacious bathroom and towels and a hairdryer are provided.

The well-equipped kitchen has 4 induction rings (no oven) a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, George Foreman grill, slow cooker and a good selection of dishes, cutlery, utensils, glasses, pots and pans. Kitchen towels are provided. Laundry facilities are available on request.
