About

The village of Kallin with its modern harbour is situated at Grimsay's south east tip. This is the centre of the islands important fishing fleet. The nearby settlement of Bagh Mor (Baymore) is a favourite haunt of artists and photographers.

Photographers Tip

There are usually boats tied up near the old stone pier. Eaval in North Uist provides a good background to any photographs. Early or late in the day gives the most favourable lighting conditions.
