    A circular walk of 11km around part of Great Bernera offering a visit to a Bronze Age dwelling at Bosta Beach.
  4. Rhenigidale and Maraig from Urgha
    A circular walk that uses the old postman’s path to Reinigeadal – the last village in the UK to be reached by a road. Look out for porpoises in Loch Trolamaraig and enjoy views of the uninhabited Shiant Islands and the mighty Clisham.

      Just a short walk up a 2km gravel track you’ll find the North Harris Eagle Observatory and one of the best opportunities in Scotland for viewing the iconic golden eagle.

    3. Langass Woodland
      A peaceful walking trail through a community woodland on the island of North Uist where you can enjoy wildlife spotting and walking amongst the trees.
    4. Tangasdal view from hill
      This is an established trail with way-marker posts in Barra. It has a combination of cultural and natural heritage which gives a great insight to the island’s past and present. It has also some truly spectacular scenery.
    5. Walking in the Outer Hebrides
      For those looking for an unforgettable adventure, there is the option of walking or cycling the length of the Outer Hebrides along the Hebridean Way – our long-distance walking route which stretches for 156 miles from Vatersay in the south to Stornoway in the north. It’s a truly iconic island experience.
