Essential Tips Before You Book

Booking directly - always book directly with the accommodation owner. You will often get the best rates, enjoy clearer communication, and directly support our local island community.

Definitions

Crofthouse - A traditional Hebridean home built on a croft (a small agricultural holding unique to the Scottish Highlands and Islands).
Glamping Pod - Modern, insulated timber cabin. It offers a cosy, warm upgrade from traditional camping with real beds, electricity, and heating.
Late Availability - accommodation that becomes available at short notice - often due to cancellations and can be booked within the next few weeks.
Special Offers - discounts or added‑value deals provided by accommodation businesses.
