About

Location

Temple View Hotel is located at the southern end of North Uist and is ideally located for exploring all of the Uists. A day trip to Barra is easily accessible from Temple View, as well as touring Berneray, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Eriskay.  There are many things to do on North Uist including fishing on the lochs, birdwatching, walking, exploring the archaeological sites or the many craft destinations there are on the islands, or simply enjoying our stunning beaches.

Accommodation at Temple View Hotel

We have 10 spacious well appointed bedrooms, all en-suite, with views towards the small islands at the front of the hotel or the moorlands to the rear of the hotel.  After a day’s exploring of the Uists, relax and enjoy the ambience of our small comfortable lounge bar before dining in our sun lounge or dining room, or unwind in our Guest Lounge with a book, a board game, or just simply the TV.

Dining at Temple View Hotel

A full Hebridean breakfast is served each morning with a good choice of options to suit all dietary requirements.  We serve fresh, home cooked meals in our sun lounge and dining room featuring local produce as much as possible.  Our menu is excellent value and is complemented by a carefully chosen wine list.
