About

Spectacular views across the sea to North Harris and the Isles of Scalpay and Scotsay. Closer by, watch the local seal population as they bask on the rocks below the house. The cottage is ideally located for walkers and cyclists, surrounded by scenery and central to Harris, as well as the whole of the Western Isles. The isolated situation together with the ambience we have created, with many hand crafted fixtures and fittings and artistic touches, make it ideal for a romantic break or honeymoon.

A warm welcome awaits you here at Red House. A basket of complimentary supplies including local fresh provisions and something suitably sparkling. The stylish open plan sitting room features a multi-fuel stove and reclining sofa. Well equipped kitchen area, slate lined wet room, stunning mezzanine floor with sitting area boasting beautiful views and a king sized bed. You can enjoy peaceful strolls along the shore and enjoy the wildlife. The only traffic the ferry sailing past.
