About

Our fully equipped luxury Mega Pod comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults and is in the perfect spot, set into the hillside with stunning unspoilt panoramic views of Loch Cromore and the hills surrounding the village of Cromore here in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.  There’s an abundance of wildlife on your doorstep including herons, swans, the occasional otter, and many eagles and buzzards flying over-head. Combined with two designated walks right on your doorstep, our pod is ideally situated as a base to explore our beautiful Hebridean Isle.  With activities like waterboarding, fishing, walking, hill climbing and bird watching, there’s plenty to keep you occupied. There are also the remains of St Columba’s 16th century church, which can be accessed via a tidal path.  And if that isn’t enough, a short drive away are the stunning beaches in Harris or the archaeological mysteries and delights in Lewis, like the Callanish Standing Stones and Gearrannan Blackhouse Village to name only two!  We’re ideally situated for exploring our amazing islands and you won’t have time to be bored.

Coming back to your luxury pod is the ultimate way to relax and wind down after a day of adventure.  The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to cook meals, with an oven, hob, fridge freezer, and all tableware.  We have a full-size shower, toilet and wash hand basin, and a double bed with a Hypnos mattress ensuring a very comfortable night’s sleep. There’s a king-size sofa-bed for extra guests. For your convenience we provide complimentary hotel quality bedding and towels, luxury toiletries etc in the shower room and in the kitchen, washing up items/towels. There’s a Welcome Breakfast pack on arrival to start off your holiday as stress free as possible.

The south facing decking is furnished with a patio table and 4 chairs, plus there’s a loch side picnic area with a firepit and play area, and ample off-road private parking.  We’ve added a cosy/secluded patio & firepit right next to the pod, giving a more sheltered spot for relaxing and sunbathing.

Our pod is fully insulated and has underfloor heating to combat our Hebridean winter weather, ensuring cosy winter escapes. A hairdryer is provided and also ironing facilities, binoculars, a mix of children’s and adults board games and a selection of DVD’s for rainy days!  Our aim is to help you to enjoy your holiday, so we are on hand to meet you on arrival and can provide information or advice to ensure that you make the most of your Hebridean holiday.

Perfect for weekly/fortnightly holidays, walking/climbing trips, long weekend breaks, romantic weekends, fishing trips/cultural breaks or shorter stays, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to our luxury glamping pod on the beautiful Isle of Lewis, a Hebridean welcome awaits!

Nearby

For your convenience, there is the Ravenspoint Centre, with a shop, café, Post Office, and Museum located approximately 6 miles from the pod, selling a variety of groceries, newspapers, and gifts. They also provide a 24/7 fuel service, a laundry facility, and cycle hire.

A further 6 miles on, there’s the Loch Erisort Hotel and the Kinloch Cafe both serving lunches and evening meals – booking ahead is probably best.
