Welcome to Arnisdale House on the west coast of Lewis!

Arnisdale house is a totaly new, cozy, holiday home, completely newly furnished and welcomes guests from 2020. We offer spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 double bedrooms. Make your breakfast in our sunny kitchen, equipped with everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our spacious bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and sink offers you every modern comfort.

We are based in the quiet crofting village of Brue and are blessed with amazing views towards loch Barvas and the Atlantic Ocean. In less then 20 min. you are in Stornoway where you find all kind of shops, restaurants and activities.

Within 40 min you can visit all mayor sites on Lewis (Callanish Standing Stones),explore the spectaculair coastline, or just start walking from our doorstep towards the ocean in 10 min or make the walk around loch barvas. Lewis is a paradise for outdoor activities and it's right there at your feet!

All rooms are on the ground floor and easily accessible for people with reduced mobility. There is private parking for 3 cars and a garden house to store your bicycles, surfboard or other outdoor equipment. The garden is fully fenced and is a paradise for childeren to play safely! From the sofa you can enjoy the sunset over the ocean and loch barvas in the evening.

Brue is excellent place for surfing along the coast and Barvas Loch is a hot spot for many water sports. You can fish wild brown trout literally on your doorstep or take your chances on a salmon loch nearby and with opportunities for sea angling off the coast, this is a great destination for fishing.
