The house ha easy access to the beaches of Shawbost, Dail Beag and Dail Mor, and Uig. South Harris is an hour and half away on a stunning drive across mountains of Harris.
There are also great walks from the house North and South along the West Coast Path. And those wanting to get some fantastic views and a little altitude (261m) can tackle the slopes of Ben Bragar which lies just behind Shawbost.
Internally the house has been decorated tastefully and in keeping with its surroundings and location in order to maximise the benefit of the amazing views. The furnishings are all top quality and you will find down filled duvets, luxury linens and towels for your stay.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 bath/shower rooms this is a very comfortable holiday house for 3 couples sharing or for a family of six. The kitchen will be a delight to work in being equipped to a high standard and forming part of the main open plan area.
Those with a love of the great outdoors will not be disappointed and will find that the garage offers the space to store bikes, surf boards and kayaks safely. The garage also contains a table tennis table and washing machine/drier for dealing with any beach clothing.
The house is located on the West Coast 19 miles from the shops, airport and ferry port in the main town of Stornoway. The journey takes about 30 mins over the very beautiful Barvas Moor. Harris and Tarbert lie about an hour and a half’s drive to the South and the amazing beach of Uig about 50 minutes to the South West.
