About

The charter vessel 'EYDIS' was custom built in 2019 to provide passengers with a comfortable, warm and dry experience at sea. She cruises at 14 Knots, enabling a large area of coastline to be explored during a charter.

A typical charter is 3 hours, giving time to explore inshore, coastal and offshore habitats with seals, white tailed sea eagles, otters, dolphins and minke whales often spotted. For anglers, pollock and mackerel are normally caught, with catch and release encouraged.

EYDIS is skippered by Lewis Mackenzie who has 35 years of experience working at sea. He is a WiSE accredited Marine Wildlife Guide.

The charter charge for EYDIS with Skipper is £100 per hour.

Lovely boat. Amazing tackle. We caught so much fish. Mackerel, pollack and crab. The fish itself would have cost the same price in a supermarket as the cost of the trip. Such good value for money... Read full review

Unfortunately we couldn't get a trip booked as the boat was on a commercial charter however Lewis was able to recommend another operator so we didn't miss out. He also took the time to share his... Read full review
