About

Hebridean Adventures offer an adventurous wildlife safari day tour of Lewis and Harris from Stornoway, Join our experienced and knowledgeable wildlife guides as you visit several locations around Lewis and Harris. The exact route will depend on the time of year, weather conditions, and local knowledge of the guide. This is intended to give you the very best chance of viewing the wildlife opportunities at the time of year you are visiting.

Highlights could include golden and white-tailed eagles, merlin, hen harriers, short eared owls, and a mixture of other wading, water and land birds including divers, corncrake and the rare red-necked phalarope. Then there are seals, otters, and even whales and dolphins to be spotted when the conditions are good for shore-watching.

Our tours are all private to you or your group so we can tailor them to your interests as much as possible. For example you might like to take short hikes away from the vehicle, it could be spotting eagles are your primary wish, or that you want to try and mix in a little sightseeing along the way if possible with a visit to one or two of our famous landmarks inbetween wildlife watching.

If you love wildlife then this is the best day trip on Lewis and Harris for you. Please ensure you call or email us well in advance to book so we can agree a date that works best with your schedule and ensure our avaiability.

Don't have your own binoculars with you? Don't worry, our guide will ensure you get views through our top quality optics from Swarovski.
