About

Sandy Bay Croft Wigwmas® are located on a working croft in the picturesque Hebridean village of Scarista on the West coast of the Isle of Harris.  Two Running Water, En-Suite Wigwam® cabins, sleeping up to 4 adults or a young family of 5.  To add to the romance and sense of fun, each cabin has its own picnic table as well as a mini Broch, where you can light your own firepit and BBQ.

Guests can discover a different pace of life as they take long strolls along the breathtakingly beautiful coastline, dominated by fertile machair, magnificent white sandy beaches and stunning mountainous backdrops.  For the more adventurous, there are ever-changing landscapes to explore on foot or by bike, or take to the water for some surfing and kayaking.

The site is on the main A859 route, making it the perfect stop off for; cyclists taking up the challenge of the Hebridean Way Cycle route, an ideal base for those taking a day trip to the fascinating island of St Kilda, as well as offering guests the chance to observe incredible sunsets and see the Northern Lights in all their glory.
