About
Berneray hostel is set in a lively island community. There are beautiful beaches and good walks around the island. The hostel provides a great opportunity to relax, watching the sky, sea and shore. Berneray is an all-year destination. The coastline is as easy to walk in summer as in winter. The hostel has spectacular views to northern Skye and the mainland of northwest Scotland when visibility is clear.

We aim to provide simple hostel accommodation with a self-catering kitchen to allow all to stay a while to get to know the Outer Hebrides’ unique environment and Gaelic culture. Our hostels all have Visit Scotland Two Star Hostel status.
