About

Luxury Awaits...

Step back from everyday life

Welcome to The Sheep Station - two luxurious self-catering properties located on the west coast of Harris in the Outer Hebrides.

Each of the houses sleep two and are perfect for couples of singles seeking the utmost in sophistication and style in one of the most stunning and remote locations in the UK.

The interiors are beautifully designed and offer super king-sized beds, indulgent bath tubs, rainhead showers, Smeg appliances, and full laundry facilities.

Fibre optic broadband is freely available throughout the houses and we also provide guests with Sky and Netflix as well as the more traditional selection of DVDs, board games and plenty of beautiful books to browse at your leisure.

Architect designed and recently constructed, the houses overlook the beach at Traigh Mhor, Scarista and offer spectacular and uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean, the island of Taransay and the majestic Harris hills.

The beautiful beach is just a few minutes from the properties and is reached by crossing the dunes and the pretty machair during the summer months.

The Sheep Station was created to offer visitors a peaceful and remote place to holiday without compromising on quality or luxury. It provides the flexibility of a self-catering break with the ambience of a small, boutique hotel.

Guests may choose to simply nestle down and enjoy the many benefits of the houses and take in the surrounding views from the comfort of the indoors, but for those wanting to experience the outdoors, the Isle of Harris is the perfect place to holiday with endless walks and hikes to suit all levels, amazing cycling and running routes and of course, abundant opportunities to enjoy the sea with everything from fishing to kayaking, wild swimming and surfing on offer locally.

The Sheep Station is the perfect holiday choice for wild-life enthusiasts, photographers and creative minds.

And, if you are a golfer - the famous Isle of Harris Golf Club is just a mile along the road.

A warm Hebridean welcome awaits you with chilled Bollinger champagne and a selection of local treats for you to enjoy during your stay.
