About

Our cottage is comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating throughout and everything you need for relaxing stay in the Uists. We have Sky TV, free Wi-Fi and a collection of books is also available. A large double bedroom and a twin room have plenty of space and comfy beds for a relaxed night’s sleep in the quiet crofting district of Sollas. We’ve tried to make the cottage as comfortable as possible with a dishwasher, towels (not beach towels), bedding, laundry detergent, toilet rolls and cleaning materials provided.

Check in is 4pm and checkout by 10am with access via a key safe so you can arrive anytime.

Minimum stay of one week, Saturday to Saturday. No pets and no smoking please.

Our two-bedroom detached bungalow, built in 2018, has a spacious open-plan lounge/well-equipped kitchen/diner. The living area is filled with natural light, thanks to French doors leading to a large garden area which also has parking for several cars. Situated on the west side of the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides it is within walking distance of its many unspoilt white sandy beaches and is an ideal holiday getaway for a relaxing chilled out holiday, or to use it as a base for outdoor pursuits including walking, windsurfing, canoeing, cycling, fishing, diving, bird watching, island hopping etc

The local Co-op shop is open till 10pm, Monday to Saturday, and petrol is available in Lochmaddy and Bayhead. Electric cars cannot be charged at the cottage. There are car charging points nearby at Claddach Kirkibost, Isle of North Uist HS6 5EP, Kersavagh, Lochmaddy, Isle of North Uist HS6 5AD, 1 Tigh A Chidhe, Lochmaddy, Isle of North Uist HS6 5AA, Hammersay House, Lochmaddy, Isle of North Uist HS6 5AE.
