About

Nestled on the dramatic coastline of West Harris, Corran takes its name from the Gaelic word meaning ‘the peninsula’ – a fitting tribute to the stunning beach that stretches across the bay before you. This beautifully renovated traditional Hebridean crofter’s house offers an authentic taste of island life, elevated with contemporary comforts and breathtaking views over the world-renowned Luskentyre beach

Your Island Retreat

Our stone-built property has been thoughtfully restored and extended, blending traditional Island architecture with modern luxury. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a sanctuary where you can truly unwind, whether you’re planning active adventures across the Outer Hebrides or seeking peaceful moments watching the ever-changing light dance across the turquoise waters.

Accommodation

Sleeping up to five guests, Corran provides generous space for families or groups. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious king-sized master bedroom alongside a comfortable twin room and a cosy single bedroom – perfect for families. The thoughtful layout ensures everyone has their own peaceful retreat after days spent exploring this magnificent landscape.

Living Spaces

The heart of the home features a traditional lounge where you can gather around the crackling log burning stove on cooler evenings. But it’s our spectacular new sun lounge that truly sets Corran apart – with its expansive window framing panoramic views of the bay and its own warming log burner, this space transforms any moment into something magical. For entertainment, the sun lounge converts into your own private cinema, complete with projector and large screen for memorable movie nights with the Luskentyre backdrop.

The generous dining room comfortably seats your group around a large table, while the comfortable sofa and window seat provide additional spots to savour those captivating bay views. Two well-appointed bathrooms, including a newly fitted shower room alongside the main bathroom with over-bath shower, ensure convenience for all guests.
