44 Back is situated 7 miles from Stornoway in the crofting village of Back. The house is an excellent base to explore Lewis and Harris or to just stay and relax. A scenic walk down our croft takes you to Gress beach where you can enjoy the beautiful sands.
In the village there is a Petrol Station with a Shop/Post Office, a Pharmacy and other local services.
The 4 bedroomed house offers comfortable accommodation and sleeps up to eight people.
On the ground floor there is: A fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob, double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and coffee machine. The small living room has a Smart TV and a multi fuel stove (an initial supply of wood and coal supplied). A double bedroom with king size bed. A twin bedroom, a family bathroom with bath/shower and toilet. Upstairs there are a further 2 bedrooms, one twin room and a double bedroom with en-suite shower facilities and toilet.
There is oil central heating throughout and electric is by key meter with £45 credit included.
There is a garden with a picnic bench and a shed for storage of bikes, etc.
Parking for up to 3 cars is available.
