Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact all of our lives. The Outer Hebrides, like most of Scotland, are currently in a Tier 4 lockdown. This means that only essential travel to our islands is permitted. This advice applies to those who have been vaccinated as well as those who are still waiting their turn. All accommodation businesses must remain closed unless serving key workers and essential travel.
We urge you to follow the Scottish Government guidelines to stay at home and not to travel to Scotland or the Outer Hebrides at this time. By following official guidance, you’re playing your part in helping keep our community safe.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to back to the Outer Hebrides when national lockdown measures are relaxed and travel restrictions eased. Transport and accommodation providers, are taking bookings for later in the year, though we do not yet know when restrictions will be lifted. At this stage, we are not anticipating leisure travel being permitted until at least April. That could, off course, change and we will keep this page updated….don’t worry we will be the first to let you know!
In the meantime, follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for some Hebridean calm and inspiration.
