About

We are an independent weavers, working on a single width 85 year old Hattersley, here on the Isle of Lewis. My sister weaves the tweed on my loom, on her 90 year old Hattersley and a wooden glamacra floor loom while I design the tweeds and make everything we sell in the shop. I create clothing, accessories, homeware, bags, gifts and more from our own unique Two Sisters Tweeds and Harris Tweed from local weavers. I also paint original watercolours and artwork on feathers, wood slices and sea glass jewellery. I create other jewellery from seashore finds and our tweeds. We weave a range of luxury fabrics from unusual supersoft yarns including our own gotland sheep fleeces, merino, alpaca and silk, alpaca and rose fiber, islandic and natural undyed british wool. These beautiful fabrics are gorgeously silky, soft and warm, perfect for bringing a touch of Hebridean luxury to your home. We also stock a range of cards from my photographs and artwork, calendars and tweed covered sketchbooks.
