About
This is an area of high rocky cliffs and very often experiences strong winds. This part of the coast receives the full force of the Atlantic gales and storms.
Care is advisable on the cliffs especially in strong winds, the grass can be very slippery especially after a storm. The cliffs are also very crumbly in places.
There is a stunning view north from Ard Feinis across an area of wild Atlantic Ocean, the promontory "Rubh an Taroin" and a number of majestic sea stacs.
Photographers Tip
The late evening sun illuminates the sea stacs and "Rubh' an Taroin" in spectacular side lighting from late spring to early autumn.
