About

This charming three-bedroom self-catering cottage offers a cosy home-from-home experience and comfortably sleeps up to seven guests, making it ideal for families, couples or small groups seeking relaxing Isle of Lewis accommodation in the beautiful Outer Hebrides.

Located close to the dramatic Butt of Lewis Lighthouse, the most northerly point of Lewis, Cosy Cottage is perfectly positioned for visitors wanting to explore the island’s wild Atlantic coastline. Here you’ll enjoy breathtaking sea views, fresh ocean air, peaceful surroundings and some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Scotland.

A short five-minute walk brings you to a welcoming local café, while the picturesque Port of Ness Harbour and beach are only 15 minutes away on foot. The area beautifully blends peaceful island living with fascinating local heritage, including a traditional museum café where visitors can enjoy a glimpse into Hebridean life in years gone by. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy, with excellent opportunities for walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching right on your doorstep. Four high-quality adult bikes with helmets are available for guests, allowing you to explore the quiet coastal roads and stunning landscapes at your own pace. Keep an eye out for deer wandering nearby crofts — a magical and memorable island experience.

Families will love the nearby Eoropie Dunes Playpark beside the beautiful Eoropie Beach. With a local sports centre, swimming pool, gym and welcoming social club close by, everything you need is within easy reach. Whether you’re seeking adventure, wildlife, coastal walks or simply a peaceful Hebridean retreat, this cosy cottage is the perfect base to relax, recharge and experience the magic of the Isle of Lewis.
