About

Home baking and a warm island welcome awaits you from Irene and Norman Mackay at Clearview B&B. We have created a homely place for you to stay on your island holiday and having lived on the island all our lives we are able to advise on any aspect of the islands you wish to see during your visit.

We have many guests who return repeatedly and have become friends rather than just guests over the last 30 years we`ve been running our B&B.

Clearview B&B is in an elevated position with panoramic views of Loch Erisort and the Pairc and Harris hills. It is a very peaceful area, ideal for a relaxing holiday and there is a guest lounge area to spend your evening if you wish. All rooms have en-suite facilities except one which has a private bathroom. Our breakfasts are created to each guests individual wishes from simple continental to full traditional fry up using local butcher produce. We offer reduced rates for longer stays.

Located in the village of Balallan, we are an ideal central base for touring the scenic island of Lewis and Harris and only 25 minutes drive to Stornoway or Tarbert.
