About

The perfect escape for families, couples and lovers of the great outdoors. 5 camping pods are located on a traditional working croft in Mangersta, a tiny village on the Uig peninsula, edged by dramatic cliffs and sea stacks. The quiet valley opens out to Mangersta Sands, a completely breath-taking Hebridean beach, frequented by Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles, Gannets and Fulmars. 

The excellent Uig Sands Restaurant is a 7 min. drive and Uig Community Shop (for groceries, fuel, ATM and launderette) is a 10 min. drive. Uig Museum and several cafes are located in neighbouring villages. Mangurstadh Gallery is on site where guests can view original art, crafts and landscape photography evocative of the Hebrides.

3 Wigwam® Cabins and 2 Shepherd’s Huts with ocean views, are fully self-contained with their own private en-suite showers/WC and kitchens equipped for self-catering. Each Wigwam® sleeps up to 4 adults on 1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed. Each Shepherd’s Hut sleeps up to 2 adults on one double bed. Fully insulated, with electric heating and double glazing, a luxury camping experience is guaranteed in any Hebridean weather. Mangersta Croft Holidays is a dog friendly Glamping site and can offer group accommodation for a total of 16 people.
