Traigh Pabail or Bayble Beach in Point is a small sandy cove, just beyond the villages of Upper and Lower Bayble.

The sheltered bay has a small pier and the calm clear waters are great for paddleboarding, swimming, pier jumping and fishing. It’s a fantastic place to unwind with a sunset walk along the beach, or with a morning dip in the sea.

The waters off Bayble beach are a Marine Protected Area for Risso’s dolphins and sandeels, so keep your eyes peeled.

On a clear day you’ll have an amazing vista of the mainland mountains beyond the uninhabited Eilean Paibel or Bayble Island. Bayble Island actually consists of two islands (Eilean Mòr Phabaill and Eilean Beag Phabaill), but these appear as a single island from most directions.  Gannets and other seabirds can be seen on the island and diving into the surrounding waters.

The beach is easily accessed with a small carpark just next to the beach.
