About

We are delighted to invite you to experience this special place once again as we launch our preview season in advance of preparations for our official launch later this summer. Located beside the world-famous Calanais Standing Stones, in the new Calanais Visitor Centre you will find a welcoming café serving delicious homemade dishes made from local produce, a thoughtfully curated shop showcasing a bespoke Calanais range alongside crafts from talented Hebridean makers, and a brand-new exhibition suite where you can discover the stories, heritage, and culture that have made Calanais a place of wonder for over 5,000 years.  You are welcome to our cafe and shop without any booking - to visit the stones and the exhibition during opening hours bookings can now be made at www.calanais.org/booking-information

Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning to reconnect with this extraordinary landscape, this is your chance to be among the first to explore this new chapter. As part of our preview season, you will also have the opportunity to share your feedback and help us shape the visitor experience.
