North Uist, with its stunning white sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters, is an idyllic destination for a relaxing getaway or the perfect base for a wide range of outdoor activities. Whether you want to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the island, or explore the great outdoors through walking, canoeing, cycling, fishing, diving, birdwatching and island hopping, there is something for everyone.
Our self-catering accommodation is available to rent throughout the year and comfortably sleeps up to four guests.
Tigh Geal has been finished and furnished to a high standard, providing everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house is powered by renewable energy, with an air source heat pump providing underfloor heating throughout. The property also offers disabled access.
The accommodation comprises two bedrooms: one double and one twin, along with a spacious shower room featuring a walk-in shower. The large, comfortable living room includes satellite TV, BT Infinity Wi-Fi, a DVD player and a CD player. The spacious dining kitchen incorporates a fully fitted kitchen, while the large sunroom provides a wonderful space to relax and enjoy views across the machair towards the sea.
For guests travelling with an electric vehicle, we also have an electric car charger available to use. Please note that charging is available at an additional cost to the weekly accommodation tariff.
