About

Vallay has great beaches and machair land and a great spot for wildlife. Vallay has been deserted since 1945 when George Beveridge, then owner was killed in a boating accident. Beveridge owned Erskine Beveridge and Co. Ltd., a linen manufacturer in Dunfermline and was a keen historian and photographer, publishing a number of books.
