We have an advisory and diversions on this route. One at Drimisdale and the other at the Hebrides Range. Both diversions mean that you should take the road. See route waypoints here.
Advisory/Diversion 1: At point 5 at Drimsdale, where the road meets the main road, the route heads towards the east. There is a broken bridge here which means that the steps on one side are missing (and means about a metre climb/jump). You have the choice off navigateing the bridge or diverting this part of the route and continuing on the main road.
Advisory/Diversion 2: At point 11 at the Hebrides Range, the route once more heads to the east towards Lochcarnan. This part of the route can be badly flooded. If you are a very experienced walker, this may be ok but depending on your experience level, you may wish to follow the main road instead and avoiding this section - particularly if the weather has been very wet in the recent past. Instead of taking a right at the Hebrides Range, go straight on and follow the main road between points 11 and 24.
Tobha Mòr has been an important ecclesiastical centre since early medieval times.
