About

Brighid is located on the North West coast of the Isle of Lewis offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Inspired by its surroundings and agricultural heritage with colours reflecting the dark Lewisian Gneiss rock on which its foundation sits, the home has been carefully designed to encourage relaxation while you connect and experience nature on the edge of the ocean.

Brighid has everything you need for a relaxing ‘home away from home‘ experience. Sitting on croft land, you will witness a working croft with sheep grazing, sea birds and other wildlife outside your window.

Facing South to take advantage of the uninterrupted views and vast sky. Experience unforgettable sunsets that are the envy of the world from the private decking area or from within Brighid with full height glazing in every room.

The house has been designed to reduce its impact on the environment with energy-efficient technologies providing hot water and underfloor heating. A small wood-burning stove allows for cosy winter evenings.

Full height South facing glazing with access to outside decking from the bedroom and living space allows you to enjoy the views both inside and out. Full height glazing to the bathroom with a freestanding bath offers total relaxation while watching a breath-taking sunset or waves crash on the shore.

The Interior takes inspiration from the islands' Scandinavian heritage with modern minimalist furniture mixed with some hints to more traditional materials.

Brighid is a luxury holiday home designed for couples only. It is fully accessible for guests of all abilities.

Brighid is a recently built, architecturally designed home that meets all current standards for energy efficiency. A stay includes:
