Hebridean-ebikes is a new venture brought together by the passion of William Scott (Chippie) and David Dytch (Avid cyclist). The decision to offer an eco-friendly way allowing visitors to the Outer Hebrides to experience the incredible landscape of Uist consisting of the islands of Berneray, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist and Eriskay.
All of the islands have been linked by causeways and offer an amazing transit of a large section of the Hebridean way.
Currently our fleet consists of a selection of 20 E-bikes and Mountain bikes providing for all cycling abilities, we also provide children's bikes on request 'however' persons under the age of 14 years are not legally permitted to ride E-bikes on public roads.
Bikes are NOT! to be ridden on beaches or through surf as the corrosive effects of the salt and sea water will damage the bikes severely, any damage caused to the bikes will be directly chargeable to the hirer.
We offer a chargeable delivery service throughout the island chain and this is additional to the hire period of the bike, for more information visit our website www.hebridean-ebikes.co.uk.
We have supported many riders from the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and France as they journey along the Hebridean Way ,184 miles of adventure and fun.
Whatever your capabilities, we can support your journey and ensure that you enjoy all that the Islands can offer.
