Hestimul sits on the edge of the sea, just a short walk from a long sandy beach, set with mature garden site with stunning mountain views of South Uist. Formerly awarded a 4-star rating as a Bed & Breakfast by Visit Scotland, Hestimul is now a family run Self Catering holiday home on the island of Benbecula.
Originally a traditional crofting house, Hestimul has been extended and renovated to the highest standard offering you very comfortable accommodation and tasteful furnishings, with a modern twist. All bedrooms have EnSite facilities, an Espresso machine, Sonos sound system to help you relax in doors. Outdoors, a patio area for al fresco eating by the chimenea. Hestimul is perfectly situated for visiting our neighbouring islands of North and South Uist, Eriskay and Barra – the stunning Outer Hebridean archipelago, has so much to offer our visitors.
Hill walks, beachcombing, visiting historical and archaeological sites, bird watching, local art centres and museum. The list goes on and on.
So, whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat to just unwind and completely relax or whether you want a base to go and explore all that our islands have to offer; the location could not be more perfect.
Fly to Benbecula, we are just a 10-minute drive from the local airport, or a 30-minute drive from both North and South Uist Ferry Terminals.
