About

Originally built as a small thatched cottage and now totally renovated, inside and out, Heisgeir View is a cosy, welcoming cottage, ideal for relaxed getaways in North Uist. Located close to glorious beaches and RSPB Balranald Nature Reserve with great bird-watching, even from the garden. Dog friendly, too!

The cottage can accommodate four people comfortably in a double room with en-suite bathroom and a twin room. Each bedroom has a TV and all bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom and en-suite are both newly refitted and have heated towel rails. There is a bath in the bathroom and a shower in the en-suite.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Additional small electrical appliances include a kettle, toaster, Nespresso Essence mini coffee maker, slow cooker and a George Foreman grill and toastie maker.

The living room has a feature window, which looks out over the island towards The Monach Isles and the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a TV fitted with Sky Q and visitors can access their own Netflix, Amazon Prime and other accounts. Throughout the cottage there is superfast fibre broadband, suitable for everything from posting on social media to running a Zoom meeting.  There is good 4G coverage for mobiles and several USB sockets for charging devices.

Outside there is a large, fully fenced garden with stunning views in every direction and private parking right at the door.
