About

Join us aboard Lady Anne Wildlife Cruises to see a side of Uist only accessible by sea. Let us guide you around rugged cliffs, unpopulated shores, hidden bays, and once populated inlets, now home only to the wildest of our island’s residents on one of our wildlife cruises.

Whether your goal is to capture breathtaking photography, check rare sea birds off your bucket list, or simply to see a side of Uist only imaginable from land, Lady Anne will take you on a journey around some of the most magnificent and beautiful parts of our islands in safety and comfort, led by a crew who know the area and its history like the back of their hands.

Lady Anne departs from bustling Kallin Harbour in Grimsay and tours the rugged and spectacularly beautiful coast of Uist and Benbecula, home to birds of prey, seals, otters, migratory sea birds and summer cetaceans. Resident white-tailed eagles nest in the area, giving you a fantastic chance to spot the UK’s largest bird of prey raising chicks in its natural habitat.

Lady Anne Wildlife Cruises are dog and child friendly and can accommodate groups of up to twelve with space on deck for everyone.

Lady Anne also offers specialised wildlife photography trips through out eagle nesting season, tailored to optimise opportunities to capture iconic shots of Uist’s most spectacular birds and mammals.

Photography trips are limited to over 16s, a maximum of five passengers, and are dog-free.

While the boat is not easily wheelchair accessible, please contact us to discuss any particular accessibility needs and we will do our very best to accommodate them.

We are dog friendly. Children and families welcome. In the harbour there is Namara Cafe, free parking and a public toilet.

Check out our website for more photos, information, reviews and FAQs, and we look forward to welcoming you aboard Lady Anne!

I was very impressed by this tour, and I've been on a few. Nick and Nye are clearly on first-name terms with the WT eagles, because we had extraordinarily close views of one flying over us, then... Read full review
