Hi, my name is Jackie. I am a seamstress with many years of experience in sewing. I have studied for  three years in Lews Castle College completing a course in fashion: Design and manufacturing with retail. Where I learned many new skills, which helped me going forward and starting my own business. Which has now been running for two years.

I am a bespoke business where I can make anything that the customer wants. I have in the past made a tweed cape, a prom dress, a waistcoat with a tie to match and a dress for a wedding for customers. I can make items of clothing specific to the customer. I love to make 1950’s retro dresses and waistcoats.

I work from home and customers can contact me through my social media sites. My hours are from Monday to Friday 9 till 5. I have recently started making tweed ties and bags. These can be bought through my social media sites or at the shop in the village of Carloway.

You can also find me in the town hall in Stornoway throughout the year running and attending some of the craft markets, along with my friend. We also have a site called Handmade Hebrides, where you can find out the dates for the markets. We give local crafters the opportunity to show and sell their crafts. If you want to know the dates of the craft markets you can get in touch with me through my social media sites. If you have something you need made just get in touch with me the same way.
