Based on Loch Keose, Grey Goose Kayaks provides a selection of sit-on top kayaks and inflatable stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) for hire in the Outer Hebrides. Hires include buoyancy aids, paddles, SUP leashes, an emergency mobile phone and dry bags (free of charge). Additional extras include hire of wetsuit trousers, soft roof racks and kayak trolleys.

Give your legs a rest and explore at your own pace the 1.5km long freshwater Loch direct from our doorstep, less than 2 miles from the A859. Stop off at one of the islands to explore the ruins, swim or have a picnic. Choose from two- or four-hour hires.

Alternatively, why not let us deliver the kayaks and equipment to an inland loch next to your cycling or walking route? Once our online acknowledgement of risk waiver and online payment is completed, arrangements can be made to have the kayaks and necessary equipment ready for you to turn up and paddle. The more adventurous and competent map readers may even wish to consider the additional hire of a kayak trolley to transport the kayaks between the massive networks of inland lochs, stretching from across the Isle of Lewis. It’s called Lochs area for a reason.
