Personal guided tours of Lewis & Harris. For the single traveller, couple, family or group of friends max 6 people.
Tours are conducted by a resident archaeologist/guide in a Land Rover Defender 110. Pick up point & drop off point by arrangement from accommodation, airport, ferry or yacht 7 days a week all year round.
The itinerary for your customised tour is based upon your personal interests and fitness (sorry not pets).
Specialised Archaeological tours can include Inverness area, Skye, Barra, South & North Uist, Ullapool area and the Highlands driving through some spectacular landscapes observing wildlife and geology while you relax on your bespoke tour combining culture, history and archaeology.
As public transport is infrequent & many sites are not well marked and therefore easy to miss a guide is recommended to seek out the less well known sites.
Please note some sites may be muddy, wet & steep slopes with uneven terrain so stout waterproof boots, a walking stick, weather proof coat & trousers is advised.
