Light has always been, and continues to be, an important part of the Atlantic shores of the Isle of Lewis. From the northern lights flickering above the Callanish standing stones, to the Carloway Broch and the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, or the lighthouses dotted along the coast of the island, be it at the Butt of Lewis or the mysterious Flannan Isles. This special connection between light and the architectural landmarks of the west coast of the Isle of Lewis is what inspired us to create Atlantic Lights, and create home fragrances which showcase this wonderful part of the world.
Our Hebridean inspired fragrances are derived from our surroundings on the west side of the Isle of Lewis. Beacon brings a wave of seaweed and juniper berry from the salty shore, while Lustre breaths out aqua minerals and sea kelp. Glint is sweetly fragranced with wild rhubarb and rose, and Fire inspired by machair flowers with top notes of wild bluebells, green leaves and a hint of peach. And reminiscent of midsummer nights, Solstice is bathed in Hebridean fragrances of sage and sea salt to give a musky citrus and marine fragrance. All of our fragrances are available in soy wax candles, wax melts and reed diffusers, and also in handy travel tins – the perfect size to take with you wherever your destination.
From the crisp sea salt of the Atlantic Ocean, to the bluebells flowering on the machair, we hope that our fragrances – whether enjoyed through the flame of a candle or the aroma of a reed diffuser – will remind you of the Isle of Lewis or inspire you to explore the wonders of our beautiful island.
